Leave it to Bubba Watson to test out hovercraft technology in golf carts. We all know golf carts haven’t changed much over the years. Well, Bubba Watson and Oakley set out to change that and created the world’s first hovercraft golf cart. Using hovercraft technology, the BW1 is able to glide over any terrain, including grass, sand, and water. Awesome!
My goodness. That’s all we can say after watching the follow-up video starring Ben Crane, Bubba Watson, Rickie Fowler, and Hunter Mahan. As the PGA says, “those guys are good.” Hilarious.

Nike Golf pumps out another Shotmakers Series video, this time featuring AK teaching us how to hit the Escape Shot. Some serious delofting of the club going on as he explains how to keep the punch shot low, straight, and still keep some spin on the ball. Well-shot and looks very slick. Nike is doing some cool vids.
You like golf and you like cars? Then watch Formula 1 legend David Coulthard and pro-golfer Jake Shepherd set a new Guinness world record – farthest golf shot caught in a moving car – with the dopest looking prop on the planet: the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster. This gorgeous whip boasts a V8 with 583 ponies under the hood. On the second swing, the car caught the ball 275 meters away from the tee, after being launched in the air by Shepherd. Looks like the stunt was sponsored by Benz and Callaway, although seems like Shepherd uses a TaylorMade driver. The whole thing was was verified by Guinness World Records.

Leading up to the Masters, Red Bull brings us a new vid feature Rickie Fowler, Lexi Thompson and a few other notables playing some golf Skeeball. Drink some Red Bull, hit over the lake, carry the water, and into the famous Skeeball style targets. Keep it loose, keep it fun. Red Bull and Rickie are always having a good time.

Cameos and appearances by Nike’s full line of PGA Tour athletes including Tiger, AK, Cink, Paul Casey, JVegas, and Schwartzel. Get a good look into the stylings that Nike has coming out, the bright colorways, Nike Dunk shoes, and performance stylings. The boys from Beaverton, Oregon are really on their game this season.

Are you ready for RZN? Nike gives us the latest in golf ball technology, claiming that the rubber core ball is officially dead and yesterday’s news. Into the spotlight steps the new resin material, or RZN. Supposedly it gives hackers more spin, more distance and a more stable ball flight. Will it make your game go lower, will it make you putt better? Who knows. All we know is it makes for a good commercial spot. And Paul Casey seems to think so.

What’s with the British accent voiceover (wait, is it British?). Hope you like pulp? Cobra presents a 30 second spot on the dreamy Rickie Fowler joining Cobra Golf, having switched over his clubs from Titleist. Not a far stretch, given that Fowler’s been with Puma for clothing, and Cobra/Puma is the same company. As you can see, lots of his famous Sunday orange colorway is involved. Kind of a weak slogan though, “It’s Go Time.” Good player, soft marketing.
