Nike Golf pumps out another Shotmakers Series video, this time featuring AK teaching us how to hit the Escape Shot. Some serious delofting of the club going on as he explains how to keep the punch shot low, straight, and still keep some spin on the ball. Well-shot and looks very slick. Nike is doing some cool vids.
Nike introduces the Nike Free-inspired Tiger Woods 2013 spikes. The natural motion engineered outsole is designed to mimic and conform to the natural motion of the foot, coupled with the protection and traction of a lightweight performance golf shoe. This innovative outsole allows the athlete to keep contact with the ground longer, better harnessing the energy of the foot to the shoe and, therefore, the shoe to the ground. The shoes also feature the new Dynamic Fit support system and flywire-infused nylon straps that extend 360° from the footbed to the lacing system. Can’t get more secure footing and adaptive fit than that!

Nike drops a new addition to its successful Method putter franchise and it has a darker side – the Nike Method Midnight putter. The Midnight putter is available in a dark chrome finish with three new milled head shapes: the 006, 007, and 008. All three models rely on polymetal face groove technology, which combine steel and polymer. Street price of around $323 and will drop at retail on June 15, 2012.

Nike presents their latest reincarnation of the Lunar Control Limited Edition for the Masters. You know reigning champ Charl Schwartzel will be in them, as well as Glover, Paul Casey and Stewart Cink to name a few. The Limited Edition Lunar Control still has the premium full-grain waterproof leather enhanced with brogue details on the vamp and quarter. Nike put the cushioning pops in green on the all-white shoe. Complementing the classy silhouette are the green laces, green sock liner, and a supple velvet shoe bag. Street price of $150, if you can find ’em.

Cameos and appearances by Nike’s full line of PGA Tour athletes including Tiger, AK, Cink, Paul Casey, JVegas, and Schwartzel. Get a good look into the stylings that Nike has coming out, the bright colorways, Nike Dunk shoes, and performance stylings. The boys from Beaverton, Oregon are really on their game this season.

Nike presents its new Method Concept putter in a limited colorway of yellow and green. Sweet looking two-tone finish that’s just in time for the Masters event coming up next month. This flatstick has a green aluminum face plate with yellow aluminum and green polymer inserts. The yellow stabilizer bar matches well with the green/yellow grip above. Go get one before they sell out of this rad color combo.

Are you ready for RZN? Nike gives us the latest in golf ball technology, claiming that the rubber core ball is officially dead and yesterday’s news. Into the spotlight steps the new resin material, or RZN. Supposedly it gives hackers more spin, more distance and a more stable ball flight. Will it make your game go lower, will it make you putt better? Who knows. All we know is it makes for a good commercial spot. And Paul Casey seems to think so.

Nike sneak peeks speed trial footage featuring PGA Tour pro Anthony Kim. As he says, he’s got speed “all day, every day.” The new VR_S line of clubs are supposedly Nike’s fastest and lightest club to date, enabling players of all caliber to swing faster and pound the ball further. We all could use abit more yardage.

Nike expands its Method putter franchise and its boundaries by unveiling the new mid-mallet Nike Method Concept putter. Inspired by the notion of the concept car, Nike designers created an iconic shape that blends art with science without sacrificing performance. The art is in the profound shape. This radical shape has the appearance of a blade, yet plays like a mallet. Plus, its designed in two parts – the face is light (only 90 grams), yet the body is heavy at 200 grams. This results in a high MOI-to-head ratio putter with a small mallet footprint. Street price around $200.
