Are you ready for RZN? Nike gives us the latest in golf ball technology, claiming that the rubber core ball is officially dead and yesterday’s news. Into the spotlight steps the new resin material, or RZN. Supposedly it gives hackers more spin, more distance and a more stable ball flight. Will it make your game go lower, will it make you putt better? Who knows. All we know is it makes for a good commercial spot. And Paul Casey seems to think so.

Nike presents its new 20XI ball. Its new core is made by injection-molding a new resin that Nike developed with DuPont over a 4 year span. Nike claims that the new material makes the 20XI 2-3 mph faster than compression-molded rubber cores.
Mark and Lona add some colorful touches and present their fashion-inspired Magnum Golf Balls. Bright and loud, these 2-piece distance balls feature Golf Or Die motto, skull-and-clubs logo, and come in neon colors that’s hard to miss.

Nike releases the 2011 Power Distance franchise. The Soft line has a low compression core designed to increase ball speed with slower swings, while the Long balls have a high velocity polybutadiene core for faster swings.
Bridgestone releases a limited edition orange color of the e6 golf ball. The e6 is designed for straighter ball flight and features a 330 seamless dimple design. With a surlyn cover and a newly enhanced anti-side spin layer, the ball is optimized for distance.
